la la la day my day
October is a great month. For me, it is.
Maybe I like October because it is my birthday month, and my parents kept reminding me how beautiful that day was when I was born. They talked about the bright blue sky and beautiful sunset, the trees all dazzled up in their vibrant color peak. Most people I’ve talked to like fall scenery.
5th was my 22nd birthday. I was born on October 5, 1985 and I was super cubby baby.
I truly, truly enjoyed my 22nd Birthday! In the beginning, I never gave much thought to my birthday, or how I’d bother celebrating it this year. Because before my B’day I already received huge huge happie gifts from my parents and Hann Yeeh, yes yes my special persons are coming back on my B’day!!
But 30 min before midnight, Doraemon sent me a b’day text wishes, (btw, when can I get your pocket?) right at 00:00 former college friend Cheng Yong gave me pretty msg!! I miss the time with you and Jaime =) and all your very best for your work in Singapore can’t wait to see you and Jaime again!! And more messages came into my phone, really thanks for your sweet wishes!!
My grandparents called from Japan, my grandpa wrote down every family member’s b’day in his small notebook. Since I was little, my grandpa always call me on my b’day morning and say their wishes for my future days. It means a lot to me =)
Another happie thing, I got a really super duper huge surprise when I got surprise lunch and beautiful birthday cake delivered to me!! From my lovely friends Qiu Yi, Karen, Poi Yee, Ming Ming, Keen Gaik, Mun Loong and Ben!! I was so shocked and yet, I felt so touched that they’d bother celebrating my birthday with me, esp since I’ve only known them for 6 months plus!! Really touched and happy that people do care about me!!
After the cake surprise, wouldn’t have thought I’d get surprised again, but I did! Mun Loong gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses. Thanks Kathy for this idea to Mun Loong haha =) I really love it!! yay I got flowers!!
Isn’t it gorgeous? Smells really great too!! The small buds are roses that have not bloomed =)
Birthday cake made by Qiu Yi, super cute right?? I didn’t want to eat them! But in the end I saved 3 for my parents and Hann Yeeh, and ate the rest with my friends =)

Jaime, thanks for your call we gonna talk more about Japan later on and of cause we will go shopping and buy chicken =) and Jensy, hope our reunion dinner is soon Daniel was suggested to go Satay!!
Really wrapped up a great day for me… A day I’d always remember, how lucky am I and where many people love and care about me =)
