thank you
Firstly, I just really want to thank the people of Malaysia for being so nice to me. (Even I wrote something bad about Malaysia on my blog previously)
I really do appreciate it.
Often I will be completely lost or have no idea what I am doing and out of the blue my friends will just come along and help me. Especially today, thanks to my friend Ken for helped me, thought me the right decision which I almost forgotten and thought me taking the right steps in my life. It feels really good to be a friend someone who is such a wonderful friend. (I’m not sure whether you’re reading this blog but yeah, whatever you told me today was really touched me. I didn’t know that part of you… haha thank you)
Thanks to my family and Hann Yeeh who I can connect with from overseas. It really feels good to be able to pick up the phone and have a good conversation with my mother, father, Ryo, and my beloved Hann Yeeh. Thanks for still being so wonderful even from so far away.
They really do brighten my day!
Thanks again and Thanks a bunch!
kickapoo joy juice
The other day, my lovely classmate pinky Qiu Yi was drinking Kickapoo in the class. And it reminds me of my high school days in Singapore.
On the way to school, me and my friend Mai stopped by the grocery shop somewhere near Clementi Avenue 1 to pick up a drink. Scanning through the drinks, we always decided to get little beauty: “Kickapoo Joy Juice” =) and then, two of us bought that drink and we were drinking it all the way to school haha, Mai was warning me about the side effects of going happy all over – I mean, it ain’t called “JOY juice” for nothing right? So ended up, we spent at least 10 minutes going high and happy in our classroom haha… Smiling and grinning without reason!
I really need some joy in my life, so I bought a kickapoo joy juice today. Best decision of my entire life.
It is a great drink, and I really enjoyed it. I had to keep the can because it made me smile and giggle yes, i got a little joy now yay yay =)
The ingredients listed on the can are:
Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and 34g of sugar in 240ml of drink that is double of that in Coca-Cola, citric acid, sodium benzoate, concentrated grapefruit juice, gum arabic, sodium citrate, natural falvor, EDTA, brominated vegetable oil and yellow 5 and it is 132 calories.
If you care about health sort of thing. You don’t. May be it’s not Joy Juice to you =p
long day, long story to tell you~
Last week, my father called me and I got a mission from him.
**************************************************************************
Dad: “Go MayBank in Shah Alam, get my documents ASAP!”
Me: “Huh? Shah Alam?”
Dad: “Oh before you go, need to get other documents from my school. Don’t forget that okay? ASAP!”
Me: “Huh? School some more”
Dad: “All documents are ready. Just go and get it for me. ASAP!”
Me: “………”
Dad: “AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! OKAY?!”
**************************************************************************
In Malaysia, I hate to go some particular places.
(May be I’m not used to go those places… Yeah this sounds more nicer =p)
1: My father’s school. Which is located in out-of –the-way place called Saujana Resort aka small Japanese village.
2: City Kampong ex; Sunway, Subang Jaya USJ, and SHAH ALAM
3: Government departments or places where staff is ladies with all tudung.
IF I HAVE A CAR, I DON’T MIND GOING ANYWHERE. IF I HAVE A CAR!!
Anyways, I didn’t do my dad’s ASAP mission for a week. Last night my dad called again.
**************************************************************************
Dad: “So, when are you going to collect my documents?”
Me: “Soon soon…”
Dad: “When is your soon?”
Me: “If I can find someone accompany me to go together”
Dad: “Please go get it by tomorrow. I told you ASAP! Documents are ready waiting for you!!”
**************************************************************************
No choice, need to go ready no more excuse allowed =(
So, this afternoon I went to Shah Alam, were hit by flashfloods with water level reaching up to a meters high after continuous rain few weeks ago. Yes Shah Alam here I come.
I hate how the way Malaysians work.
Before I go, I wanted to know the place Maybank in Shah Alam so, I called Maybank for like a million times and they either put me on hold for what felt like eternity or transfer me to 5 other departments. I called particular number and it says number not in service, then I called the E-service number and it took them forever to answer.
Then I called another number I found on the web site. And FINALLY I got through…
**************************************************************************
Malay lady: Hello (In her most Malaysian accent) selamat petang.
Me: I would like to know the location Malayan banking in Shah Alam?
Malay lady: Oh, tunngo sekejap.
Transfer me to Malay lady2
Malay lady2: Ya, apa hari ini?
Me: I want to know the location Malayan banking in Shah Alam? May I know the address?
Waited… No response…
Malay lady2: Tak tau lah. Sorry I can’t find address, ada nombor telefon? After pray I call you back ok?
**************************************************************************
After 2pm, She never call me back. In Malaysia this is normal can’t blame people.
The motto Malaysia Boleh. I tell you Malaysia boleh apa?
BOLEH tidur, BOLEH makan, BOLEH sembahyang many times and not get their work done?
Ooppss this is very dangerous I can be arrested.
But yeah after I realized how lousy I was. Dad asked me to do work week ago and I didn’t do any and done nothing. I can imagine how angry he is, how much disappointed on me and almost I’m guilty of this.
Anyways, I went, FINALLY I went to Shah Alam without knowing nothing about place, direction everything. Before I went to my dad’s school and collected other documentation. As I told you before, my dad’s school is in out-of –the-way place it’s very hard to get single taxi from Bangsar it also made me appreciate Japan much more. We use an unrigged taxi meter, it’s air-conditioned, hygienic, and roomy as compared to the Malaysian taxies =p I negotiated with the driver over the price and I had to pay additional RM5 from Bangsar to Saujana Resort, reached there price was RM13 and additional RM5 total should be RM18 and I gave him RM20, I was waiting change and he started to talk how difficult from there to go back to KL, blah blah blah, I need to gave up on my RM2. How smart he was. May be it was one of business strategy?
I hate the moments when I come out from my dad’s school.
There is NO normal taxies and NO cars on the road but there is many of SUPER FRIENDLY TAXIES out there. Greeting me in Japanese. Yes there’s lovely moments that people will think I’m Japanese but I felt confident I could walk somewhere far, avoid the scourge of the super friendly taxi driver. They said I’m stingy not like normal Japanese, asking me how come don’t take their taxies?
Hello!! I can’t afford to pay RM40 to near near place!! And I’m not so bodoh!!
I still enjoyed living in Malaysia, but when it was time to get a taxi, it pissed me off slightly, knowing that all the bloody drivers are out to make more money from me than they should. I can’t stop complaining about getting cheated by taxi drivers, I hate to think how much stupid Japanese get swindle by “friendly” taxi drivers, most drivers, drive like crazy. Scary. And they ketok people’s money. Hate that!!
I wanna being a part of the Malaysian really but sometimes I really can’t tahan Malaysian systems.
It’s quite a stupid thinking from some people’s point of view. But those of you who happen to think like me might just know what I’m trying to say here.
Oh by the way, I finished my mission. Done everything perfectly =)
I NEED CAR ← Can be my reward?? =p
Photo of the day: I’m not going back there anymore!! thank you!!
